About Me
My passion for photography comes from many different places. I was raised in Canmore, AB, so right from the get-go, I was introduced to beautiful scenery and nature. I was always the artistic kid. From elementary school to high school, I loved drawing, painting, music, playing instruments, and taking photos. As I got older, what stuck with me the most was taking pictures of landscapes and flowers. I also have a burning desire for travel. Growing up, I was able to travel around Canada as well as go on family vacations, and I absolutely loved the different landscapes and cultures I experienced. Very quickly, I realized that I didn’t want to be stuck at one desk job, in one place, for 40 hours a week, so my goal has been to make a living online, which allows me the time, location, and financial freedom to be able to travel the world more than just once a year for two weeks. I have always been a believer in spending life focused around passions and being your most fulfilled self instead of checking societal boxes, and that is why I started Escaping Monotony. I can now follow my passions of photography and travel on my own terms, and help others live their dream lifestyles by mentoring in digital marketing and high-ticket sales businesses. There’s no asking anyone for permission to live life around here!
